Condolence: Philip & I send our sincere condolences to all the family on the passing of a beautiful lady. Aunt Emily was such a kind, gentle person, with a warm smile and love for everyone. She was a wonderful Aunt and I will very much miss our visits on my trips back home. Aunt Emily always ended our conversations with "God Bless You" and now I can end my conversation with Aunt Emily by saying "May God Bless You". You were an Angel here on earth and now your are an Angel in Heaven. May you rest in peace.

Condolence: my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Aunt Emily was such a special woman. I have such fond memories of Mud and Aunt Emily. Their late night calls where I pick up the phone to use it and hear Mud say “Em is you awake” a little while after I pick up to use again but this time would be “Vera is you awake”. Or the time Aunt Emily called over to get Steve to shovel the driveway for her, I told her I will send him over when he got out of the shower. When he got over she was already out with an axe beating the ice at the end of the driveway. She was 90 at this time. Such a strong woman and smart. After Mud passed and I couldn’t remember how to make caramel sauce with cottage pudding all I had to do was call across the street because Aunt Emily knew all the recipes. She will certainly be missed by all.

Condolence: The Butler family; please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your mother.
How I appreciated the hospitality your mother and father showed me as I waited for
Rod and Wayne to walk school at PWC all those years ago.
May God hold all of you in his heart and give you comfort in the days ahead.

Condolence: George & I send our deepest condolences on Emily's passing. With her goes so much of the Slade family history. To live to be 100 yrs. old & keep mind & body as active as Emily did, as her children you have a lot to be thankful for.
As you celebrate her life this week, be assured
all of her Salmon Cove family will be thinking of our dear aunt, along with you.

Condolence: I had the unpleasant task of telling mom the sad news this morning. We are deeply sorry for your loss and our prayers are with you today.

Mom told us many stories over the years of her and Emily growing up especially the trip to Labrador with their fathers for the summer fishery.

There is no doubt that apart from a long life your mom have a full and happy life.
