Butler, Emily Mildred (nee Slade) – Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the age of 100 years. She is predeceased by her husband: James; son: Rod; parents: Arthur & Jessie Slade; brothers: Chesley, Issac & Lester; sisters: Winnifred, Vera & Pearl; sister-in-law: Dora. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Sharon (Lyndon Russell); Gayle Stapleton; Joy (Warren Morris); son: Wayne (Carol Norwegian); daughter-in-law: Gail; sister-in-law: Eliza Slade; 11 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren. As well she leaves to mourn a large circle of other relatives & friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place at the Barrett’s Chapel on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 2:00pm, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
