Terrance "Terry" Patrick Whelan
After a courageous 15 years of living with leukemia, Terry (Terrance) Patrick Whelan, age 70, passed peacefully away on Nov. 26, 2018, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital in St. John's. Predeceased by parents William and Dorothy Whelan, brothers Raymond and Jim, sisters Audrey and Colleen, special nieces and nephew Susan, Cherylann and Brian, and mother and father in law Chesley and Ruby Perry.
Leaving to mourn his wife of 47 years, Jeannie (nee Perry), son Mike, daughter Meaghan (Matt Grimes) and three special grandsons: Luke, Max and Teddy. He will be greatly missed by sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Special thank you to Dr. Blair Drover, Dr. Kristy Tompkins, Dr. Cynthia Slade, Dr. Jatin Morkar and his team, as well as the nursing staff on 7 West at St. Clare's. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Children's Wish Foundation.

Cremation has already taken place and a private ceremony for family will be held on Nov. 29.
