Barbour, Breta - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, June 23rd 2018, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital at 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Clarence Ralph, great granddaughter Annabelle Barbour, parents Jordan and Hester Blackwood, sister Minnie and Husband Harry Barbour, brothers: Ben and wife Margaret Blackwood, Bert and wife Marie Blackwood and Edward Blackwood, parents-in-law William and Emma Barbour, brothers-in-law: Dave Wareham and Eric Larkin. Leaving to mourn her loving children: Judy (Dave) Bonnell, Derek (Doreen) Barbour, Marie (Paul) Stead, and Lynette (Chuck) Clarke; grandchildren: Catherine (Richard), Karen (Karl), Jordan (Theo), Mark (Allison), Todd (Stacey), Neil, Megan (Adam), Kyle (Megan) and Alyssa; great-grandchildren Nathan, Aidan, Sophie, Brooke, Kaia, Avery, Claire, Romy and Marlowe; sister Shirley (George) Gates, brother Cecil (Mary Lou) Blackwood, sisters-in-law: Elsie Larkin, Phyllis Wareham, Nancy (Barry) Yetman and Elise Blackwood. Visitations will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton avenue on Tuesday, June 26th and Wednesday, June 27th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 3rd at 2pm, inurnment to follow at Mount Pleasant cemetery. No flowers by request, donation in her memory may be made to the United Church Chaplaincy, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.
