Passed peacefully away on Friday, April 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family, Alice Mary Crane (nee Devereaux). Predeceased by her husband Wallace of 62 years, five brothers and two sisters, her loving mother Mary Devereaux and also close friends.
Leaving to mourn her beloved family of nine children, seven sons: John (Elizabeth), Gord (Janet), Wally (Diane), David (Debbie), Wayne (Cathy), Bill (Stephanie), and Gerry (Lisa); two daughters: Joan (Wayne) and Glenys (daughters: Courtney and Laura), nineteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; two brothers: Pat (Marion) and David (Debbie). Also a special goodbye to the many beautiful friends she made at Hillcrest Estates in the past four years and many thanks to the caring staff members. Thank you to the doctors and staff of 4 South A at the Health Sciences Centre. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one`s choice.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, April 15 and Monday, April 16 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral will be held at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 11am. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
