Obituary for John Edward Alexander Knight

KNIGHT, John E.A. – Born January 9, 1944. Passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 with family by his side. Predeceased by his parents: Eric and Marjory (nee Lester) and brother Arch Knight. Left are his wife Sylvia (nee Saunders); daughter Tanya Knight (Chris Hapgood); son Scott (Karen Elliott) and his 3 grandsons: Eric, Evan and Andy whom he loved so much; sister Anna (John) Foley from Dildo, Trinity Bay, many nieces, nephews, family, friends, neighbours and his long time friend and buddy Bill O’Brien. The Knight family would like to extend a sincere thanks and appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Miller Center, Palliative Care Unit for all your TLC. At John’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. There will be no funeral service, a private family interment will be held at a later date. No flowers by request.
