Passed peacefully away on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Pleasant View Towers, Violet Mary LeGrow. At the age of 97 years. Predeceased by husband: Matthew LeGrow; son: Reginald LeGrow; parents: Ernest & Maude Lidstone; brother: Reginald. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter: Carol (Robert) Norman; sister: Jean Thoms; sister-in-law: Kathleen Flight (Littleton, Massachusetts); grandchildren: Sherri (Steve May), Karen, Aimee, Steven, Christina; great- grandchildren: Tyler, Jack, Zoe, Violet, Sam, Holly and Madison. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. on Thursday December 28,2017, and from 10-12 a.m. on Friday December 29. Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 from Barrett’s Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or in lieu of flowers donations in Violet’s memory may be made to The Diabetes Association, The Janeway Foundation or The Alzheimer's Society.
