Condolence From: Ed & Margie Miller
Condolence: Sandra and the Parsons family
We are so sorry to hear about Charlie. We were friends for 49 years and neighbours for 31 years. We have many great memories including the Sunday Brunches that Sandra so skillfully prepared.
We remember the stories, the shared wheelbarrow, sharing a cup of tea, the pine hot tub and the parties.
Our children as well as the neighbourhood children adored Charlie - as I’m sure he loved them as well.
Rest In Peace dear friend.

Condolence: To Sandra and the entire Parsons family. Our deepest condolences on the passing of Charlie, my cousin and Masonic Brother. I have many fond memories of Charlie when he use to visit our family in Dartmouth, NS when we were all so young. Over the years I visited with Charlie when I was on the Island on business and pleasure and we always made time to chat and get caught up. He was a great story teller and full of knowledge especially listening to his stories of his visits to England where he was born and spent his first few years there during WWII, his times sailing the globe and of his family. I could sit and listen to him for hours. He has all the answers now, rest in peace Charlie.

Condolence: I have many fond memories of Charlie, both as a member of HMCS CABOT as well as an employee of MA Parsons. Charlie was a mentor to me in both positions teaching me how to treat all people with respect. He will be missed, my condolences to Sandra, and all the Parsons family.

Condolence: Very sad to hear that Charlie passed away. My fondest memory was Charlie showing me all of his model airplanes and I was absolutely amazed! I loved them! He was kind enough to give me one and I will never forget that. He was so good to the neighborhood kids and I know they'll all be thinking of him today!

Condolences to his family and friends.

Condolence: Our condolences to Sandra and Charlie's family. Of all the people we've had the pleasure to serve with and under as members of HMCS Cabot, Charlie was the one person who earned our respect and honour the most easily. He was a true officer and gentleman.

Condolence: Sorry to read of Charlie's passing. I had the privilege of knowing Charlie while we were part of HMCS Cabot. He was a delightful character and every now and then would say "come on Padre, let's go for coffee" and he would regale me with stories. Haven't seen him for several years but remember him well. Condolences to his family.
