We are sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Pike. We spent many a holiday having family dinners with her over the years and she will be surely missed. I remember her Christmas rum pudding and as a small child, being amazed how she would set it on fire. There were always the jokes about how she ‘fed’ the pudding for days before serving it. She was always smiling - what a great way to be.

Condolence: She kept after me to call her Eileen ... but she continued to be Mrs. Pike for me. She was so incredibly kind and loving to me and the Petten family for all our lives. She was truly part of our family and usually with us for special events if she could. She even drove across the island with Mom to pick up Luke and I in Port aux Basques one summer. She and Mom were blessed to have each other after Uncle Fred and Dad had passed. She will be missed but the stories will live forever with loving kindness. Thank you Eileen/ Mrs. Pike for being so consistently wonderfully you. I love you so much. Thank you David and Sandra for making sure her last hours were loving and peaceful.
