Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, June 3, 2018, James Masters, age 95 years. Predeceased by his loving wife: Mabel (May 17, 2018); parents: Willis & Mary Anne; sisters: Anne, Gladys (Bill Grant); brothers: William (Ben), Levi. Leaving to mourn his children: Kenneth (Katherine), Beverley (James Dougherty), Jane Ann (Frank Green), Terrence (Melina Benson), Elaine, Monique (Kevin Wareham) & James (Clarice); step-son: Wayne Slade (Lynn); 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; step-grandson: David Wareham; many nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family & friends. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at St. Clare’s for their tender care and kindness; his caregivers, Madonna Hynes, Jennifer Murphy & Sharon Street; and Dr. Essiji. Visitations at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 10am-9pm and Wednesday, June 6 from 10am-11:30am. Funeral service to follow at Barrett’s Chapel at 12pm.
