Passed away peacefully at Palliative Care Unit of Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Saturday, May 26, 2018, in his 76th year, surrounded by his loving family. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Ruth; son Rick (Pauline) of P.E.I.; daughters; Kim (Gerry) Smith of Mt. Pearl, and Lori and her fiance Dean Gillingham of Mt. Pearl; 10 beautiful grandchildren and 7 amazing great-grandchildren; brother Ashton; sisters: Joyce of St. John’s, Jane (Bob) Howell of St. John’s, and Dianne of London, ON; sisters-in-law: Rosalie of St. John’s, Judy of Pouch Cove, and Cathy (Don) of Torbay: brother-in-law Bill (Betty) of Ottawa, ON; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thanks to the staff of Palliative Care. Your kindness and care was so greatly appreciated. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Monday and Tuesday, May 28th & 29th, from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-900pm; and on Wednesday, May 30th, from 10:00am-12:00pm. Funeral service to be held at the Eastern Gate Church, 759 Empire Avenue, on Wednesday, May 30th, at 2:00pm.
