Condolence: Well here it is bud the day of your funeral. It was such an amazing service. Bert, Christine, Haley, David, Corina Wis and Kayla did an amazing job on their tributes, poems and the slide show with all your pictures. They chose music which was you all over. I’ll never listen to fiddlers green the same ever again, and then to hear hallelujah by Gord Downie was amazing, one of my favourite songs but never knew there was that version. Like the Reverend said you were not beating down the doors of the church to get in anytime lol but it was exactly what you would have wanted. Time without out you is already dragging on so slow and life with out will never be the same. Rest Easy Cuz, love you and forever missed.

Condolence: Our hearts go out to all of Rods family. We were only family for a short time. In that short time we came to know and love Rod. He was an amazing man, kind, straight shooter, a wonderful Dad and Grandpa and would protect and love his family at any cost. You will be so missed but know you are still protecting and loving your family from up there. xo

Condolence: I am very very sad to hear of Rod's passing. He and I were good friends when I first moved to Mount Pearl on Schreyer Crescent when we were in high school. Rod was a good friend he showed me around as I knew nothing about or anybody in that area and introduced me to his friends and hangouts and we spent alot of time together hanging and had great times. He and Christine and I rented movies and would stay up all night at my house watching movies when we first got a Beta Max VCR and we thought it was the best thing going lol. I also have fond memories of listening to Creedence Clearwater Revival in his basement something I will never forget. I truly appreciate the friendship he gave me at a time when I moved to a new area and all the good times that we did have. To Daphne and family and Rod's children and grandchildren my sincerest condolences on your loss and my heart goes out to you all. To Rod "I will always be looking out my back door" CCR at its best. RIP and God bless.......
