William Frederick Fillier September 8th, 1956 – May 11th, 2018
Passed peacefully away after a brief illness on May 11th, 2018 with his loving wife Jean and his brother Bob by his side, William Frederick Fillier age 61. Predeceased by his father and mother James and Isabel Fillier, his sister Jeanette Fillier and sister-in-law Roseanne Fillier. Leaving to mourn with heavy and saddened hearts his loving wife Jean, son Andrew whom he loved, his brothers: Bob (Jean) Fillier, Jim Fillier; two special sisters: Linda Fillier and Joan Griffis; two special step daughters: Dianne (Owen) Mercer and Melissa Mercer; special step granddaughter Hannah Mercer; sisters-in-law: Mary (Mike) Messener, Geraldine (Jim) Fleming, Joanne (Norm) Crotty, Elizabeth (Doug) Chafe, Carolanne (Jeff) Lutz, special aunt and uncle Mary and Andrew Churchill and special friend and buddy Glenys Fillier. Also a large circle of nephews and nieces and extended family and friends. Special thank you to Dr. Daryl Hogan for all his special care also Dr. Greenland and Dr. Rourke at the cancer clinic. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, May 13th, 2018 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. A funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Chapel on Monday, May 14th, 2018 at 11am with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
