Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Saturday, April 21, 2018, Susie Smith, age 94 years. Predeceased by her husband: Lawrence Smith; parents: Florence & Arthur Bowering; brothers: Rev. Nathan Bowering (Margaret) and Wallace Bowering (Ruby); sister: Mabel Bowering. Leaving to mourn with fond memories, her loving daughter: Dawne Smith and very good friend: Frances Bowering; other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 5pm-8pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Tuesday, April 24 at 11am. Interment will take place at Grace United Church Cemetery, Coley’s Point at 2pm. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Susie’s memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre or the MS Society of Canada.
