Paula Frances Ivy Grace Fullerton (nee Ballantine), RN

(June 5, 1931 - March 13, 2018)

Passed away peacefully in the presence of her daughter Janet at Glenbrook Lodge. Paula is predeceased by her husband Dr. Malcolm McDonald, her parents Lewis and Daisy Ballantine (nee Ashton), brothers Mark (Nan), James (Catherine), and John (Margaret). Leaving to mourn her beloved daughter Janet (Bill Stone), her precious pussycat Sterling, her darling grand-dog-ter Scarlet, and a large circle of family (in the UK and Australia) and friends. Many thanks to the wonderfully compassionate and caring staff at Glenbrook Lodge, her dedicated and loving caregivers from Helping Hands, the Bahá'í community for their prayers, and to her family, friends, and neighbours on Forest Road for their love, friendship, and support. Special thanks to Alison Lobel, Karen Yetman, Kim Bell, Brenda Garland, Robyn Jamieson, and Jasmi Joy. Paula will be remembered in the hearts and minds of her loved ones for her wonderful stories, wise counsel, healing touch, kindness and generosity to friends and strangers alike. Donations in honour of Paula may be made to the SPCA. Visitation at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Friday March 16, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and Saturday March 17 from 1-3 p.m. with funeral service to follow at Barrett's Chapel at 3 p.m. There will be a reception following the service in the refreshment lounge.
