Condolence: It is with great sadness that I hear of Des' passing. When Heather contacted me last weekend to inform me of his situation and that she and Shanna were frequently at the hospital in support, I had no idea how quickly it would happen. Regretfully I hadn't seen him in over 11 years. My memories of him and Ceanne go back a long way, and as I referred to them as my second mom and dad, at her passing, since having spent so much time in their company. This loss leaves a void so I can only imagine how his family feels. I always enjoyed his sense of humour - through tears and smiles I write. It is with these memories that I have always considered him a part of my family and so this hits home across miles and time. I extend my deepest condolences and prayers during this difficult time to all of the Butts, Shanna, Ian, Derek, Gloria, Glenda and wife Linda. Rest in Peace, Des.

Condolence: Linda, I'm so very sorry to hear of Des's passing. I was always delighted to see him coming into the barn for a chat and I'm so glad we had the opportunity to visit when we trailered the ponies last year. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and I wish you strength and peace during this sad and difficult time.
