Passed peacefully away at the Glenbrook Lodge on Friday, February 23, 2018, Neta Phyllis Best, age 97 years. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 71 years: William (Bill); daughter: Genevieve (Ken Lawrence); granddaughters: Stacey (Steve Chipun) & Shelley; step-granddaughters: Tracy (Fergus Murphy), Kerry & Stephanie; great-grandchildren: Annike, Nicolas, Matthew & Julia; sisters-in-law: Alice Hunt, Maggie Hunt, Joyce Best, Major Marcella Hopkins (Major William), & Irene Jacobs (Walter); brothers-in-law: Gladstone Best, Fred Best (Louise), Albert Best (Marguerite), Robert Best (Daphne), & Baxter Brown; many nieces, nephews & and large circle of family & friends. Resting at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, February 27 from Barrett`s Chapel at 11AM. Interment to follow at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
