GAULTON, William - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on February 23, 2018 at the age of 92 years, surrounded by his loving family. He is reunited with his darling wife Priscilla who passed away in 2005. He also joins his son in law Jim Holland who passed away in 2015. Leaving to mourn but grateful for his long life are his three children: Judy Holland, Bill Gaulton (Brenda) and Joy Gaulton (Dave Reid); the loves of his life his four granddaughters: Jaime Collins (Jason), Kelly Holland (Jason Garland), Lesley Gaulton and Melissa Power (Brent); his pride and Joy, great grandchildren: Cailey and Ryan Collins and Anderson Power. Also leaving to mourn his sisters in law: Nancy Grouchy (Philip), Mildred Velvick, and Florence Porter (Kevin) and bother in law Stan Turnbull and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. The Gaulton family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his other “family” at Ruby Manor for their special friendships and tender loving care. Also, a special thank you to the nurses of St. Clare’s Hospital 4th West, Suzanne, Brenda and Yvette, who delivered the best care in his final days. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Sunday, February 25 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Monday, February 26, from 2:00- 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel, Mt. Pearl. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in William’s memory to the Diabetes Association of NL.
