Phyllis  Howell
Passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family after a lengthy illness that she fought to the very end, on Sunday, January 6, 2018 at St Clare's Mercy Hospital in St. John's, Newfoundland, Phyllis Howell (nee Crane), aged 72 years. Phyllis is predeceased by her parents Charles & Lorraine Crane; nephew: Richard. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Truman Howell; daughter: Tina (Gord), sons: Barry (Darlene), Shawn (Grace), Truman (Catherine); 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 4 sisters: Iris & Rick, Elizabeth, Jean, Jeanette; 2 brothers: Dennis & Bruce. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. And 2 special dogs Buddy and Shadow. Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from Barrett’s Chapel at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy flowers will be gratefully accepted, or donations in Phyllis’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
