It is with broken hearts that our family announces the peaceful passing of Granville Gosse at the Health Sciences Complex on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, surrounded by his loving family, at age 88. Predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth ( 2015); parents Richard Howard & Lavina Mae Gosse; four brothers: George, Lloyd, Selby, and Jim; and sister Doris. Left to mourn and cherish his memories are his son Glenn (Patsy); daughter Kathi Power (Paul); grandchildren: Adam Gosse, Kayla Clarke (Peter), Vanessa Frampton, Brad Frampton, and Alicia Hefford-Power; sister Rose Peddle of Lewisporte; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the wonderful staff of Meadow Creek retirement home in Paradise for their special care during his residency. At his request, cremation has taken place. Memorial service to be held at Barrett’s Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Saturday, December 30th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Granvilles’ memory may be made to a Charity of Ones’ Choice. Please visit www.barretts.ca to sign the memorial guest book.
