The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Capt. Gorden "Bud" Parsons can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Carl & Jean Miller
Condolence: To all members of the Parsons family, we would like to extend our condolences to you at this time. We mostly knew Bud through the CLB and we thank him, through you, for all the help he gave our son, Paul, as he progressed his way through the CLB. Bud was a fine, friendly person who helped a lot of people through the years, and his life was appreciated for that fact. Carl & Jean Miller

Condolence From: Capt. Neil Dawe, Upper Gullies CLB
Condolence: Mrs. Parsons, Ken and family, Kelly, Brad, Annie and Austin: So sorry to hear about Capt Parsons but I hope you will forgive a humerous memory - I'm pretty sure he would appreciate it. We were in CLB camp together and he was running the canoeing program and I was running the air rifles - every day he'd come up to me and ask if we were ok on the back field with the heat, dust and flies, while he was always fresh, and water splashed - he asked me if I could help with a small problem with his canoes - his cold drinks were starting to get a bit too warm! Dooh! He continued to tease me about this for the next 20 years or more. Hey buddy, hope you're still enjoying your peaceful days on the river! God rest you and keep you!
