Passed peacefully away at his home on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at
age 76. Predeceased by his parents Eileen & Allan;
sister Nora Stanley(Node) and sweet baby niece Helen. He leaves to morn his brothers: William“Bill”(Hildred), Gary(Joyce-"mommy"), Allan(Sharon), and Dan; sisters: Elizabeth“Bet”, Jude(Andrew), Eileen”Leany”(Frank), and Helen; children Catherine, Christine, Michael(Barb), Allan and Ashely(Bernice). He will forever be missed by his grandchildren, favourite Aunt Helen Dunne, his niece Joyce(Rick), Nephew Donny, his fur baby Rasquelle plus many other family and friends. Leo was one of a kind, he had a heart of gold and wore his heart on his sleeve. He loved spending time with his brother Gary, and sister in law Joyce(mommy). Leo enjoyed the simple things in life especially a game of cards. He loved being around his niece(Joyce), greats niece (Melissa), and great-greats nieces and nephews (Blake, Owen-baby O and Brooke) He will be resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, Commonwealth Ave. Mount Pearl on Wednesday July 26, 2017, from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. Cremation to follow. Memorial service to be from Barrett’s Chapel on Friday, July 28th, at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
